I want to start the first post of this year with some homebreweing stuff done recently.
The first is an active receiving loop that would be used for the low bands and comes from the project of I7SWX Giancarlo. It was named by Giancarlo as the "Hula-Hoop" for the usage of a real hoola-hoop :-). The project has been finished a couple of days ago and it is still under test and possible modification.
The second project is nothing special but only an improvement on the grounding of my vertical antenna for the low bands. I have done a base plate where 25 radials were attached instead of the previously 6.
